"The Blues Plus Music Calendar" |
|

|
|
| |
The "BluesPlus Music Calendar" is a 3 minute segment (including 30 second underwriting spot) which is included in each hour of BluesPlus programming (see program clock 01:00-04:00). Its format is a listing of music related births, deaths and significant events for each date, followed by a clip from a song associated with that date. It corresponds to the Calendar section in the BluesPlus Music Database. |

Two calendar segments are produced for each day of the week. Each is included one time in the weeknight editions of "Blues Shadows" and "Rhythm Gumbo." The calendar segments for Saturday and Sunday are included once in each of the weekend shows ("Night Tide," "Blue Shadows Weekend" and "Rhythm Gumbo Weekend." |

In addition, stations may choose to broadcast the "Music Calendar" as a stand-alone module at different times of the day. This offers an ideal vehicle to promote BluesPlus programs that the station carries. Any station carrying BluesPlus programming will be able to broadcast the Music Calendar throughout the week |
