John Ellis began creating and hosting radio shows for Red River Radio in 1995 and formed BluesPlus Productions, Inc. in 2000. Simply stated, the BluesPlus mission is to create radio programs that present America's rich music legacy (with occasional items from around the world) in a way that entertains and informs listeners; and does so in a format that is compatible with 21st century radio stations. |

BluesPlus Is NOT For Everybody |

Listeners who only want to hear a few songs that they already know over and over will NOT like these shows. |

Purists who want playlists to conform to some preconceived idea of their favorite musical genre will also be disappointed. It takes big ears and an open mind to fully appreciate the BluesPlus listening experience. |
